What area does the Southeast Guilford Community Association cover?
- Basically the Southeast portion of Guilford County. Our area of
interest is restricted to the unincorporated area of the
county encompassed by Highway 220 on west and Interstate 85/40 on north.
Note the Southeast Business Community Association area extends south into
the northern part of Randolph County, see Map.

How can I become involved?
- Become a member of Association. Two types of membership have been
established:

Advisory – Annual Dues $50

The Advisory Board shall consist of no more than 25 members and shall
include the Executive Board members. The Advisory board shall have the
right to vote provided that they are current with the annual dues.

General – Individual
$15
Any resident living in the SE Guilford County area who wants to support
this association.

The association shall have no right to exclude and
attempt to exclude any individual from belonging to this association’s
general membership. All
decisions on eligibility, dues, and
membership rights shall be made solely by the Executive Board.
By a three-fourths vote of the Executive Committee, any membership
may be terminated.

How can I find information on a land parcel?
- Go to the Guilford County, North
Carolina interactive GIS mapping website and select parcel search; enter
"Owner Name", press "Search Button", select parcel of interest, select items
of interest, e.g., Zoom to Parcel displays the boundary area of tract.
You can zoom and pan around the area. This is a very useful tool for
obtaining information on property for rezoning hearings.

What is Voluntary
Agricultural District?
- It is a voluntary conservation agreement that prohibits non-farm use of
property for a period of ten years except for creation of not more than
three (3) lots that meet applicable zoning and or subdivision regulations.
