Committee members,
Attached you will find the plan documents that we discussed at the last
committee meeting, with notes added to reflect discussions in each of the two
groups. I have also attached the revised Vision Statement, based on the
group's edits. We will continue to refine these ideas, based on your
comments and discussion over the last few months, as we begin to draft the plan.
Please contact either Trevor (641-3591) or myself (641-2489) if you have
additional comments or thoughts.
As we mentioned at the last meeting, we are going to cancel the July meeting so
that we can work on drafting the plan, as well as put together the first attempt
at a future land use map. The next committee meeting will be held on
August 2 (updated), at CIC Presbyterian Church.
On a final note, it is important to remember that some level of frustration and
disagreement is not uncommon in the planning process and when properly directed
can be helpful in moving the plan forward. If everyone was in complete
agreement throughout the process, there would be no reason for us to meet.
